Who is part of the Connected Generation?
This is the question we’ve been tackling here at the Reach Group. We believe the connected generation’s DNA has two parts. First, it’s a technology-driven skill set and lifestyle. This is reflected in how your do business, conduct your social life, and accomplish your goals. It’s characterized by how you use the new tools available in this dynamic marketplace.
Here’s a quiz to determine whether you’re a member of this adventurous generation:

14. Do you feel naked without your cell phone or PDA?
15. Do you think of technology as an accessory? Do you coordinate your outfits to go with your cell phone and vice-versa?
16. Do you stream online videos from user-supported sites including YouTube or syndicated channels such as ESPN?
17. Do you use TiVo or another DVR to capture your favorite shows and watch them at your convenience?
18. Do you often read your news on the Internet instead of in a daily paper? Do you access sites such as Digg to find the top stories of the day?
19. Do you use Google as a verb? Is it your primary destination for looking up information?
20. Do you Instant Message your friends and colleagues with MSN or another message service?
21. Have you sent information from a website like MapQuest to your mobile device, or used your cell phone to access data from online sites such as Google?
22. Do you play poker or other games online, or connect with players through a web-enabled gaming device such as the PlayStation Portable?

If you scored five or more points, you’re connecting. If you answered “yes” to 10 or more questions, you are fully connected!
The higher your score, the more deeply you’re entrenched in the Connected Generation.
