• Create ways for people to actively participate with your brand as creators, problem solvers and community builders.
• Train and prepare your people so they are open to educating customers, and to being educated by them in return.
• Work to accommodate a varied group of consumers, from the active and highly sophisticated to the passive and less confident.
Actionable ideas:
1. Imagine a formal process that would allow you to reach customers and integrate their intellectual capital. Identify both a baby step and a big leap that your brand could take.
