Voices of the Connected Generation

While chatting over turkey veggie philly sandwiches and carafes of iced tea at our unofficial ‘corporate headquarters,’ I learned one of Lisa’s long-term fantasies. Now, don’t think cheesy romance novel just yet—this idea leaves her breathless for different reasons.

The vision: Establish and tap into a group of young ‘peer reporters’ across the country and the globe who give a heads up on the important information, events and trends within their networks and communities.

The goal: Create a center of intelligence to inspire business professionals seeking to understand and learn from this tech savvy, marketing resistant group of connected individuals who are changing the way we all work, play and shop.

The solution: Access smart, savvy, outgoing twenty-somethings with a gift for noticing and translating their peers’ behavior into relevant insights and strategies for business professionals.

The incentive: Work with and feature the peer reporters on the pages of our blog to allow them to gain experience and profile in the marketing field.

The name: Voices of the Connected Generation.

With their own unique style, wit and commentary, our peer reporters will provide unmatched insight into their connected world as they share relevant stories and observations. Offering a fresh perspective to the traditional marketing research space, the reporters will have free reign to share details about their lives and discuss what they’re noticing within their networks and the marketplace.

Look for our first guest reporter and recent college graduate, Joel Steward, in future posts as we look at life through his lens as a member of the Connected Generation. Stay tuned.
